The 18-year-old who was admitted yesterday with serious polytraumatisms to Can Misses after suffering a traffic accident on the road from Sant Miquel to Santa Gertrudis was discharged late this morning, according to the Health Department.
The victim was admitted to the Can Misses Hospital at 22 hours after the impact and remained under observation in the emergency room throughout the night; his condition was stable but not serious.
Six people were involved in the accident, three of them were unharmed and the other three needed hospital attention. One of them, a 19 year old who also suffered serious injurieswas admitted to Policlínica Nuestra Señora del Rosario; the other victim, a woman from 74 years old with minor injuries, was treated at the emergency department of the Vila health center.
The accident took place yesterday at 20.40 hours when two cars collided head-on, as reported yesterday by 061. One of the vehicles overturned after the collision, leaving the occupants trapped inside the vehicle, which required the intervention of firefighters to free them.
