The next edition of ‘Formentera2.0’ will be held in mid-May, according to the Formentera Council’s tourism department. Specifically, the conference dedicated to digital culture, creativity and communication, which will reach its eleventh edition in 2024, will take place between 16 and 19 May.
“For four days, experts in digital culture at national and international level will share ideas on the latest trends in communication, marketing and creativity in different spaces on the island and in an upcoming format following the motto of ‘Formentera2.0’, disconnect to connect,” explains the Consell in a statement in which it has not yet confirmed who will be the speakers this year. In previous editions, executives from Google, CaixaBank, Netflix, Prisa Audio, Warner Music and the Manifiesto agency have participated in the event.
“It is an opportunity to network, share ideas, seek inspiration and keep abreast of everything that is happening in the digital environment accompanied by the best experts while touring paradisiacal areas of the island, knowing its culture and gastronomy,” stresses the institution. “The idea is to learn while enjoying to return home full of ideas and projects,” adds the Consell de Formentera, which details that the conference is aimed at professionals and “anyone curious about the digital environment who wants to be up to date”. In the same way, it points out that ‘Formentera2.0’, which in this edition will have CaixaBank as a new partner, is organized at the beginning of the season “to attract quality tourism to the island”
