The new exhibition of Anthony Gofer (Anna, 1958), ‘Passejant 5’which will open its doors tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Centre Cultural de Jesús, is a review of his artistic career between 2019 and 2024.

This last five years have been very prolific for the multifaceted Valencian creator, who has made “more than thirty solo and group exhibitions both in the Balearic Islands and in the Peninsula”.

In ‘Passejant 5’ it will be possible to contemplate, exhibited on the wall or on pedestals, a selection of the works created for those exhibitions and for contests like the OD Art Awards and the Premis Vuit d’Agost. The oldest one is a wooden sculpture of a woman lying down that Gofer made for his first exhibition, which he made with the MultiArt Ibiza Association (AMAE) at Club Diario de Ibiza in June 2019.

In addition, this retrospective includes pieces from a new line of work that the artist inaugurated in 2023, in which he played with the geometry using recycled materials such as caps from perfume and cologne bottles. Also, in ‘Passejant 5’ there are abstract painting and figurative work inspired by Ibizan motifs.

Anthony Gofer’s exhibition can be visited until April 30 monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 4 to 8 pm.
