The Tourism Revitalisation and Sustainability Plan for the Marina and port of Ibiza will receive a contribution of 899,030€, to be financed from the 2022 budget of the Balearic Islands Tourism Strategy Agency (Aetib). The contribution for the project was approved yesterday by the Consell de Govern, the Balearic executive said in a statement.
The Tourism Revitalisation and Sustainability Plan for the Marina and port of Ibiza, approved by the Secretary of State for Tourism in July, involves investment of 2.7 million euros between next year and 2024.
The aim of the program is to “progess” the transformation of tourist destinations towards a model based on “environmental, socio-economic and territorial sustainability,” according to the Balearic executive.
