Ibiza and Formentera are on orange alert as of Thursday for coastal risks and strong winds. The arrival of squall ‘Ciarán’ will bring wind gusts of up to 80 kilometres per hour to the Pitiusas Islands, according to the Spanish Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Ibiza and Formentera will be between 15 degrees minimum and 23 degrees maximum this Thursday. However, wind gusts will be around 80 kilometers per hour. The Aemet forecasts that at the end of the day will be 55 kilometers per hour.
On Friday remains the orange alert for coastal risks but the alert for strong winds changes to yellow. Wind gusts will reach 64 kilometers per hour. As for the temperature, Ibiza and Formentera will range between 14 degrees minimum and 22 maximum.
