Belgian art curator Sarah Suco Torres fell in love with Ibiza’s architecture, particularly its beach huts. Inspired, she transformed a fisherman’s hut, Can Garita, into an art gallery.
The space will open with an exhibition by American artist Grason Ratowsky titled ‘Kaleidoscopes’. Ratowsky’s large-format canvases will immerse viewers in his abstract paintings. The exhibition will run until July 21, coinciding with other art events on the island.
Sarah Suco Torres also manages an artistic residence called Cicadas and is organizing a group exhibition in Paris featuring Spanish artists, including those from the Pitiusas Islands.
