A fire in the car park of the Eroski supermarket in Ses Païsses, in Sant Antoni, set off the alarm at around 10 p.m. last night. The fire started in the shopping trolleys piled up at the entrance to the establishment and quickly spread, also reaching a lamp post. The flames burnt many of the trolleys, which were made of plastic, without affecting the building.
Local Police of Sant Antoni and Firefighters of the Consell de Ibiza have collaborated in the work of extinguishing the fire and securing the area, they report in their X account from the Island Park, which has mobilized four firefighters and a caporal with a fire engine vehicle.
