The vacation rental Airbnb offers options for these floating accommodations from 200 to 21,000 euros per night
The tourist rental platform Airbnb offers up to 50 options to spend Easter floating on the sea of Ibiza y Formentera . These are accommodations, not sailing charters, as most advertisements specify. However, some give the option to go sailing for an extra charge.
The prices of these floating accommodations start at 150 euros per night for a small sailboat up to 21,000 euros per night for a luxury mega yacht of 38 meters in length and with capacity for 12 guests.
Most of the boats are located in the port area of Ibiza, although there is also one in Sant Antoni, another in Santa Eulària and three in Formentera, according to the rental portal’s search map.
All luxury
The most expensive boat where to spend these vacations is located in the port area of Ibiza. It is a yacht with capacity for 12 people, with nine berths, six bathrooms and everything you need for a few days away from home. As described in the ad, the boat even has a Jacuzzi. The total price for four nights, from Easter Wednesday to Sunday, is 84.299 euros.
The hostess who manages this charter offers her guests the possibility to make reservations in restaurants, car rental or the purchase of provisions for the charter. They can also order wellness services to enjoy on board or a personal trainer.
Of course, they cannot bring their pets or smoke on the yacht.
Limited spaces
Among the most affordable options is a catamaran in Sant Antoni: 480 euros for four nights. The boat has capacity for four people and features “everything you need to spend a few daysbed linen, towels, kitchen utensils, TV and heating”, according to the advertisement, which assures guests that they will live “an unforgettable and unique experience”.

This, as well as most of the floating accommodations moored around the Pitiusas, make it clear that are “very limited” spaces. “Staying overnight on a ship has a lot of charm, but we have to keep in mind that the cabins are not as big as a room in a house, the same goes for the toilets, the shower or the kitchen. Keep this in mind when booking,” warns one of the ads.
