Anthony Blake brings his most intimate show to Ibiza

The mentalist performs this Friday and Saturday at Can Ventosa with his production 'closer'

Faithful to his appointment with Ibiza, an island where in addition to performing he has chosen several times for his holidays, Anthony Blake returns this weekend to present his show ‘Más cerca’ (Closer) in the Can Ventosa auditorium on Friday and Saturday, 26th and 27th January, at 8:30 pm. Tickets are already on sale on the town hall website.

what is ‘Closer’, a show in which, as the mentalist himself explains in the dossier, recovers “the essence of mentalism”without losing “the grandeur of the proposals”. “It is a journey through the different facets of mentalism and in which I show you my mastery: Telepathy, Predictions, Telekinesis, Premonitions, Vision.. A whole world of personal experiences in which you will participate at all times, living surprising situations”, says Blake.

“I am able to know your past and your immediate future, your identity, your tastes, your desires, your projects.. Even the money you carry in your pocket… And I can also make you feel, think and act in a certain way. Do you think it’s not possible?…”, he adds…”.

The power of the mind

“My extensive professional experience as a mentalist has taught me that by looking inward we can know much more about what surrounds us than if we only look outward. I propose a stage experience for us to discover the power of the mind, to play with the impossible things that only I can make happen,” says Blake, whose last performance on the island was in 2022, in the presentation of his show ‘Beyond Imagination” at the Palacio de Congresos de Santa Eulària.

Blake develops this show in an almost intimate atmosphere, with only a black camera, a stool, a light and a mysterious music on stage: “A closeness that will make us cross that fine line between imagination and reality where everything is relative, even time… Because, what is time but the space between our memories?…”.
