Exceptionally breaking the fashion rules with the clear intention of austerity and savings that has led her to rewear numerous garments and accessories from her wardrobe over the last year, Queen Letizia has closed her agenda for the week with a new surprise debut (the second in three days, an unusual event for the monarch this season); a flattering and youthful top, which joined the versatile two-tone black and white Vichy plaid trench coat that she surprised us with last Tuesday.

The Queen travelled to Totana, Murcia, this Friday to preside over the 6th Educational Congress on Rare Diseases, and she left us with a spring look. Thanks to the favourable temperatures in the Murcian town, we see Doña Letizia’s new look. A tight white knitted top with puffy sleeves – puffed at the shoulder and tight at the elbow – with a flattering square neckline. From Naf Naf, the monarch’s new garment is from this season and costs 49.95 euros, although we predict that it will soon be sold out, both for its price and for how well it fits.

An ideal top that the Queen has combined with trousers that are already 6 years old and that we haven’t seen since 2016; her red culottes by Uterqüe with gold-coloured front buttoning, a garment that we loved at its premiere and that we have rarely seen on the monarch. Until today, when we liked them even more. The cut of the trousers is particularly flattering to the slim silhouette of Doña Letizia, who once again has succeeded with this youthful outfit that we would not have been surprised to see on Princess Leonor or Infanta Sofía, with which the Queen has shone under the Murcian sun. Opting for comfort and adding a touch to the look, Her Majesty complemented the ensemble with a pair of flat, square-heeled shoes, also in red and also from Uterqüe, which has become one of her favourite brands in recent times.
