And he didn’t always get paid.
With tokens this process is automatic: as soon as a stay is booked “a token is created”, which also avoids dealing with sensitive data such as credit card numbers. According to Ramón, working with tokens “is super secure. If they steal it, they can’t do anything with it. If a card is stolen, yes. Tokenize. No more cards,” he advised the hoteliers present.
Charges and refunds are made by “a single click, without relying on other departments. Operations are reduced to the maximum. And payments are automated. It is safer and offers the hotelier more guarantees than the card”. It is a new technological step in which this company is a pioneer.
