Last Thursday, a strong southwesterly wind hit the coasts of Ibiza and Formentera, causing significant damage in s’Estany des Peix. Several boats were stranded or damaged near La Savina. Eight boats broke free from their buoys, one sank, and at least four collided. Early Friday, wind gusts reached up to 150 km/h. Numerous boats were stranded, with some piled atop each other, and the storm caused a notable sea level rise.
