According to international media, a group of Ukrainian civilians have stolen an armored vehicle, or tank, from the Russian army in the village of Ljubimivka. The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, has praised the action of these civilians.

Unfortunately there is no further information on this incidente, but it seems that the vehicle would not have been heavily guarded by Russian forces, as they would have prevented it from being stolen. The perpetrators of the robbery managed to take the armoured vehicle by means of a tractor.

The news has been reported by several media, and even, Olexander Scherba, former Ukrainian ambassador to Austria, commented on it on Twitter. “If true, it is likely to be the first tank stolen by a farmer. Ukrainians are tough cookies indeed,” he asserted.
