A terrifying evening of Ibizan short films in Can Ventosa

The film will start at 19:00 and free entry

The Can Ventosa auditorium will be offering a terrifying evening on Wednesday 1st November, the day of Tots Sants, with a screening of short films by Ibizan directors Héctor Escandell and Adrián Cardona and a colloquium entitled ‘Cine de terror Vs comedia gore’ (Horror films vs gore comedy). The screenings will start at 19:00 and admission is free.

The four short films to be screened in this exhibition, which has the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City Council of Ibiza, are ‘No Vida’ (2014) and ‘Los crímenes del Día de Todos los Santos’ ( 2013), by Héctor de Escandell; and ‘Brutal Relax’ (2010) and ‘La última Navidad del universo’ (2019) will be the gore comedy short films presented by Cardona.

Colloquium

In addition, a colloquium will take place afterwards in which, with the help of the aforementioned filmmakers, they will delve into what it means to shoot a horror film versus a gore comedy and the public will be able to resolve these doubts about the cinema of this genre. This colloquium will be presented by Ana Olivia Fiol (writer and producer) and the producer Pablo Alcántara and the actress and producer Ana Vide will also participate.
