According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the day in Ibiza and Formentera will start with low clouds, with clearings expected to open up towards dusk. As a result of an incoming polar air mass, temperatures are expected to drop throughout the day, with highs ranging from 14 to 18 degrees Celsius. The wind will be light throughout the day, but will pick up to a moderate level after sunset.

We start the day with low clouds covering the islands. Only the high areas are saved, above 500 m, which is the height where the clouds are found.
Today early morning clearings will be opened.

A polar air inlet will lower temperatures in the coming days and the month of February will end with precipitation and cold. Between Friday and Sunday there could be “abundant precipitations” in the islands although “the situation is very little predictable yet”, aemet clarifies.

In fact, in the forecast for the Pitiusas for this weekend there is a 50% chance of rain on Friday and only 5% and 10% for Saturday and Sunday, respectively, thus moving the rainfall to the beginning of the week.

The maximum and minimum temperatures for the weekend will be 6 and 15 degrees

From next week will be when the drop in temperatures will be more noticeable, with a minimum of 2 degrees and the snow level in the 200 meters. The probability of rain on Monday is 80% and on Tuesday, 75%.

The maximums from next week will be between 11 and 13 degrees in the Pitiusas.
