The operation against drug trafficking in the neighborhood of sa Penya, in Ibiza town, under the wall declared a World Heritage Site, has ended with 8 detainees, after Policía Nacional agents arrested another for alleged drug traffickers yesterday.
The opeation began early Monday morning and has involved about thirty agents, who carried out searches in homes in calles Fosc and Vista Alegre of this neighborhood.
Four people were arrested on the first day, in addition to the other four arrested yesterday in the same area. Yesterday’s searches were also carried out in homes in the same two streets.
Anti-drug trafficking operation now closed
The Policía Nacional on Ibiza explain that the operation has already been closed and that today and Thursday they will expand the information on its development and final results.
All of the detainees are expected to be brought before a court today.
