Two new restaurants in Ibiza and Formentera get their first Sol Repsol

The Pitiusas already have 19 restaurants with at least one "Sol" in the Guide

The gala of the soles Repsol , held this Monday in Cartagena, has left two new prizes in Ibiza and Formentera. Specifically, the restaurants that have received their first Sol in the Guía Repsol are Omakase by Walt in Ibiza, which a few months ago also obtained its first Michelin star, and Es Codol Foradat in Formentera.

From Omakase by Walt the Repsol Guide highlights: “This intimate Japanese sushi bar goes unnoticed at first glance, but not after: it is hidden in the center of Ibiza, a few meters from Dalt Vila, the old walled city. Here, the Venezuelan chef with European roots Walter Sidoravicius proposes a tasting menu with seasonal products. Behind the wooden bar, and with the peace and wisdom he exudes, he manages to transport diners to Japan, where he lived for more than a year”.

From Es Codol Foradat writes: “This luxurious but warm gastronomic chiringuito, in the form of a paradise overlooking the sea, is located in Playa de Migjorn. On the menu, the imprint of Nandu Jubany, who has been managing the project since 2020, is noticeable. Together with Frank Jiménez as head chef, he explores island cuisine with Mediterranean products. Eudald Jubany, the son of the Catalan chef and businessman, has been in charge of the interior design and staging”.
