Complaints about lack of staff at the Consell de Ibiza’s Citizen Attention Office

The Consell de Ibiza apologizes for any delays that may have occurred and explains the shortage is due to vacations and leaves of absence of four employees.

“The Citizen Attention Office (OAC) department of the Consell de Ibiza is providing terrible service“, claims Pedro Seguí, one of the citizens affected by the lack of staff in the office in which, according to some users, there are days when there are only “three people serving” and an administrative assistant “acting as security personnel and organizing the people waiting at the door”.

Consell de Ibiza admits staff shortage

The Consell admits that there are less staff. “Of the 11 people assigned to the OAC, only seven are operational due to leave or vacations of the other four“. The institution recognizes that, despite always trying to offer the best possible service, there may have been significant delays at some point and apologizes to users that may have been affected.

Yesterday, a spokeswoman for the Consell de Ibiza said, about 90 people were attended during the morning, less than on other days last week and ensures that officials of the Consell de Ibiza “always have to offer impeccable service to the public” so it regrets if in some cases this has not been the case.
