Airline Jet2.com has announced that it will offer more than 1.1 million seats to the Balearic Islands this summer, representing a growth of more than 62,000 seats over the “already spectacular summer of 2022”, an increase of 5.6%.

The company recalls in a statement that last season was its consolidation as a leader between the archipelago and the United Kingdom and announces that this year strengthens its commitment to Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.

Jet2.com will offer direct flights to the islands from its 10 bases in the UK: Leeds, Manchester, London-Stansted, Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Belfast, Glasgow and Edinburgh, with a peak of 213 flights per week.

Also will start the season for the first time at the beginning of April and will continue until the end of October, also in Ibiza and Menorca.

Jet2holidays, the airline’s full package holiday provider partner, which a few days ago became Britain’s largest tour operator, will work directly with more than 560 hotels and more than 270 villas in the archipelago.

By islands, Mallorca will be Spain’s most important airport for the airline this summer Jet2.com, with a total of more than 650,000 seats, a growth of more than 47,000 seats compared to last summer, concentrated mainly outside the months of July and August, with a peak of 146 weekly flights. Jet2.com will fly to Mallorca throughout the year.

Jet2holidays, the airline’s partner tour operator, will work with more than 340 hotels and 160 villas on the island.

Ibiza will exceed 320,000 beds on arrival, with an increase of more than 10,000 compared to the summer of 2022, and a season that this year will start in early April and last until the end of October. Some 140 hotels and more than 15 villas will work directly with Jet2holidays and peak weekly flights will reach 73.

Menorca to surpass 180,000 beds on arrivalsome 5,000 more than in 2022, and a season that this year will also start at the beginning of April and last until the end of October. The peak number of weekly flights will be 40, with Jet2.com being the only airline to offer direct flights to the island from Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Jet2holidays will work directly with over 80 hotels and more than 90 villas in Menorca.
