A man accused of sexually abusing a young girl after ‘sneaking’ into her room after leaving a party in Ibiza has been sentenced this Tuesday a sentence of two years imprisonment and five years of restraintalthough he will not be sentenced to prison.

The First Section of the Provincial Court of Palma has held the trial against the man, 33 years old, for whom the Public Prosecutor’s Office initially requested three years in prison. The man had paid the civil liability of 1,000 euros that was requested and has accepted today the sentence of two years in prison and five years of restraining order.

The facts occurred in July 2021, in a village of the islandwhen the defendant, when going to sleep, went into one of the rooms of the house where the victim was.

Taking advantage of the fact that they were both alone, he got on top of her and performed touching on her breasts and ass, moaning as if he was having sexual intercourse. The victim was perplexed and gave him a push, asking him to leave the place.

After the conviction, the man is prohibited from approaching a distance of less than 100 meters from the victim or communicate with her in the period established by the Justice.
