The terraces of the bars and restaurants of Ibiza will be permitted to open without interruption every day until 10.30 pm, the Balearic Minister of Mobility, Josep Marí Ribas, announced this Friday.

In an appearance with the vice president of the Consell de Ibiza, Mariano Juan, Ribas reported that the outside areas of the hospitality industry may open every day from Sunday, when the measures come into force.

In addition, the exteriors may have 100% occupancy, with four diners per table.

Meanwhile, the interiors of bars will remain closed as at present.

Marí Ribas has reported that the island of Ibiza goes to level 1, as well as Formentera and Menorca, unlike Mallorca, which will remain at level 2.
