Police at Naples-Capodichino airport have had to intervene in a violent confrontation between two female passengers on a flight from Naples-Capodichino to Naples easyJet flight en route to Ibiza italian media publishes.
The dispute between the two women broke out before takeoff, but quickly escalated into a fierce fight in which both female passengers pulled at each other’s hair, yelled at each other and hit each other. All this before the terrified gaze of the rest of the passage, who tried, unsuccessfully, to separate the two people.
Also the crew intervenedthe pilot decided to alert the airport agents to put an end to the confrontation, which was delaying the departure of the flight. The police proceeded to the protagonists of the fight off the plane and was finally able to take off, arriving in Ibiza with some delay.
The scene was recorded by a traveler and has quickly gone viral in Italy. At the moment, the reasons that led these two passengers to confront each other in such an aggressive way are unknown.
EasyJet has responded to what happened on the Naples – Ibiza flight in a press release in which it states that considers certain behavior “unacceptable”. The company also confirmed police intervention on board the flight. “Although these events are rare, we take them very seriously. We do not tolerate aggressive or intimidating behavior on board. The safety and well-being of passengers and crew is always EasyJet’s priority.”
