Three of the best rice dishes in Spain are eaten in the Pitiusas islands

The owner of 'Molino Roca' rice dishes, with 120 years of history, has selected the 50 best cooks of this dish

Three of the best rice dishes in Spain can be tasted in the Pitiusas. Edu Torres, owner of ‘Molino Roca‘ rice dishes, with 120 years of history, has selected Juan Exojo (‘Can Pasqual’, Ibiza), José Serra Tur (‘Pepe Maysi Hotel’, Formentera) and Ismael, executive chef of the hotel ‘Ushuaïa’ (Ibiza), among the 50 best cooks of this dish.

Also on the list are two chefs from Menorca: Pruden Izquierdo (‘Sa Bouera Golf’, Menorca) and Emilio Sanblas (‘Es Cranc Pelut’, Menorca).

The fifty chosen ones will cook their rice dishes on October 16th at L’Albufera in Valencia. This is a clandestine event organized for the second consecutive year by this expert in rice and aims to pay tribute to the llauradors and a dish where tradition and modernity coexist.

In the last edition 30 chefs participated and this time will be fifty who will prepare their dishes with gas fire in the middle of nature, among the rice fields of L’Albufera. The exact location will be known the same morning of October 16 by whatsaap message.
