The ninth edition of Formentera20, the annual digital culture conference, will be held this year between 27 and 30 May. The slogan is ‘#DesconnectarPerconnectar’ in a real exchange network between experts in digital culture, communication, marketing and creation. During these four days, experts in digital culture will share ideas and talent in a close format in different areas of the island following the event’s slogan, which is increasingly recognised among professionals in the sector.

The President and Councillor for Tourism, Alejandra Ferrer, expressed her satisfaction at this event taking place: “This event helps bring more visitors in the low season, visitors who also promote our island”. “This is even more important this year, due to the pandemic, because they will be able to enjoy and share the wonderful outdoor spaces that Formentera has to offer via social networks”.

The director of this specialised conference is Rosa Castell, who each year gathers together the best specialists in the sector and brings together the latest trends generated by the digital world.

“This is an opportunity to network, share ideas, seek inspiration and keep up to date with everything that is happening in the digital environment alongside the best experts,” she explained.

As in each edition, renowned experts in marketing, communication and creativity will share knowledge, ideas and the latest trends in digital culture on the island. On this occasion, Castell does not hesitate to say that she is looking for “excellence in the team of speakers”.

The international element will be added by Patricia Reyes, vice president of HBO and @isabelitavirtual, creative director and winner of a Webby Award for the best content in Art and Culture.

The list of attendees is made up of creatives and digital managers from McCann, Twitter, Iberdrola, Barcelona Tech City, El Extraordinario and Tik Tok, among others.
