Ibiza and Formentera are on yellow alert for low temperatures of up to -1 degree in inland areas from 9pm on Sunday until 7am Monday, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet)
The Pitiusas spent a wintery night of wind, rain and hail. Low temperatures have allowed hail to leave a thin blanket of snow in some parts of the island.
In the image below you can see a snapshot captured this morning by a neighbor of s’Argamassa, in the municipality of Santa Eulària, shared by Aemet, where cars are coated with a subtle layer of frost.
