The Partido Popular of the Balearic Islands held its parliamentary summit yesterday to start up its electoral machinery and begin the journey towards regaining power in 2023, as reported last Thursday.
For this reason, the islands’ president of the Partido Popular, Marga Prohens, announced that soon they will present tax reforms to lower taxes in Parliament.
These reforms would include IRPF for incomes of less than 30,000€ per year and the elimination of inheritance and transfer tax between parents and children.
“We do not want to create futile debates, we are here to make proposals for the people on the street and if Francina Armengol has no ideas, we will give them to her,” said Prohens. She added that “people should know that with the PP they will pay less tax”.
The Partido Popular summit was held in a hotel in the Platja de Palma and attended by all the regional deputies, national deputies, senators, consellers of the four councils, all the councillors from Palma City Council, as well as the main PP mayors from the Balearic Islands.
