The PP of Ibiza proposes to correct “excess tourism”

The party states that it is working on a housing law proposal "to provide actual solutions."

The PP of Ibiza has set itself the goal for this new political year of eliminating “excess tourism” and recovering the jobs that have been lost due to the health crisis. The president of the party on the island, José Vicente Marí Bosó, pointed out during the presentation of the insular coordination session ‘Obrint camins’, the need to undertake “a transformation” to correct “the imbalances” that exist in this economic activity.

The popular leader defended the work undertaken by the Consell to curb the tourism model “with the persecution of illegal parties and the fight against intrusion. On the other hand, the PP stressed that it is necessary to recover employment, but also improve “human capital” and the “quality” of these jobs.

Therefore, “European funds should serve to “make a transformative investment in our economic activity”. “An investment with a return,” said Marí Bosó. “Opportunity should come from a crisis  and the Partido Popular will accompany the Ibizan people” in this process to “lead” the economic recovery, he concluded.
