A three year old boy of English nationality was admitted yesterday to the PoliclÃnica Nuestra Señora del Rosario hospital after being rescued from a swimming pool in es Canar, in the municipality of Santa Eulà ria, where he almost drowned.
The events occurred at about 5:20pm in a hotel in the town. The Santa Eulà ria City Council confirms that it was the lifeguard who rescued the child and that when the municipal agents arrived, the medical staff were already attending to him.
Boy is stable in hospital
According to a press release from the PoliclÃnica Nuestra Señora del Rosario itself, a 061 ambulance transferred the child to the hospital. The child remains stable and is admitted to the ward, according to the PoliclÃnica.
