Accommodation to spend a few days of vacation on Ibiza is the first thing that tourists book when planning the trip, even before the trip. The options are endless and everything depends on the money you want to, or can, invest in the stay, depending on whether you choose an exclusive establishment or something simpler.
In a search through the different internet portals, for the week of July 4th to 10th and for a group of ten people, accommodation prices range between 3,000 and 158,000 euros. The curious thing is that it is cheaper to book six nights in a villa than in a camping ground or hostel.
With the filter in Booking “from lowest to highest price”, a villa in Santa Eulària appears for 2.880 euros per week. It has five bedrooms with double beds and a sofa bed, plus barbecue and pool. An affordable price in a privileged environment for which each of the ten clients would pay 480 euros.
It is surprising that in the same period of time, in a hostel in Sant Antoni they ask 4,159 euros, despite the fact that the group would have to share the facilities with the rest of the visitors. According to the advertisement, tourists of all ages are admitted, but with one condition: “they must present the hostel card issued by the Spanish Network of Youth Hostels”, although they also allow you to purchase the card at the establishment itself. This hostel offers workshops, concerts and routes and the possibility of breakfast for 6 euros extra.
If camping is the accommodation option, the same group will have to pay 6,000 euros, breakfast apart. In this space they will also have to coexist with more guests since they are small cabins, but they offer a private terrace. It is a luxury campsite accommodation and on their website they explain that it is “indescribable”, so they encourage customers “to experience it”.
Luxury Accommodation
If the search is done the other way around, we can rent a private island, as is the case of Tagomago. The price from July 4th to 10th amounts to 158,000 euros to enjoy a villa with 60 hectares of land.
“Captivating panoramic sea views, a tranquil setting, ample space throughout the villa, the latest in appliances and amenities. All this makes the island, one of the most exclusive in the world, the perfect place to relax,” details the advertiser.
It has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and includes transfers to and from Ibiza airport, auxiliary boat for water sports and 24-hour transfer to the bay of Pou des Lleó, activities, butlers and security.
