Today at 3pm, families of children between the ages of nine and eleven will be able to request their vaccinations through BitCita, announced the director of care Ib-Salut, Eugรจnia Carandell yesterday, who explained that the first doses in Ibiza will be administered tomorrow afternoon at health centers. Yesterday, the Health Department did not yet know whether the vaccinations in Ibiza would be administered in all the centres, but Carandell said that this afternoon, when the families request appointments they will be informed with the options.
Although it will begin with those between nine and eleven years, the objective of the Conselleria is to vaccinate children between five and eleven years in the coming weeks. A total of 11,100 children in the case of the Pitiusas, as detailed by the Balearic Ministry of Health yesterday: 10,365 in Ibiza and 735 in Formentera.
Both Carandell and the Balearic Health Councillor, Patricia Gรณmez, stressed that minors must go to vaccination points accompanied by an adult who authorises the dose to be administered.
