Representatives of the Punta Arabí Hippy Market vendors’ association met yesterday with the managers of the resort, Mij Hotels, a meeting that the president of the group, Ana Ordonez, described as “satisfactory” because, she said, the new managers are clear that the craft market will continue next year.
All that remains to be determined now is the extent to which collaboration with the association representing the vendors will be established.
Ana Ordóñez explained: “We have made a proposal to collaborate so that the street market can be organised with the participation of the association”. And she added that “the level we will participate” is yet to be defined, although the new managers are clear that “the street market will continue without any doubt, because they appreciate it very much”, she insisted.
