The vaccine is most refused on the Islands of Ibiza and Formentera

The Pitiusas are about to reach 110,000 administered vaccines with the full guideline

Ibiza and Formentera are now shown to have the highest coronavirus vaccine refusal rate of the islands, according to the covid database of the Balearic Ministry of Health. Until now, Menorca had the highest refusal rate when the Health department called them. In recent weeks, the situation has turned around.

Formentera shows the most explicit refusals in relation to the vaccinated population. So far 239 people have refused, one out of every 30.8 vaccinated, a rate very similar to that of Ibiza, which stands at one refusal for every 31 who have agreed to be administered the vaccine against the coronavirus. In total, 3,282 people said they did not want to be vaccinated.

Menorca now records one refusal for every 33.3 vaccinated and Mallorca, where fewer people refuse to be vaccinated, one for every 35.9 immunized. The average for the Balearic Islands is one person who refuses to be vaccinated for every 35 that agree.

Almost 110,000 vaccines

Ibiza and Formentera are about to reach 110,000 people vaccinated, that is, with the full guideline against the coronavirus, according to the latest data published this weekend in the covid database of the Balearic Ministry of Health. Right now there are 109,181 citizens in the Pitiusas with at least two doses while a total of 111,212 have received the first and are waiting to complete the guildline.
