The mayoress and head of Tourism at the Santa Eulària Town Hall, Carmen Ferrer, yesterday received Ellen Hartmann, a German citizen from the Bonn area who has just turned 90 years old and who has been a regular visitor to the municipality since 1963, where she has a house and spends long periods of time.

Ferrer thanked Mrs. Hartmann and her family (they also spend long periods of time on the island and her daughter has exhibited her paintings in municipal halls on several occasions) “for having been so faithful to our municipality and for giving us the opportunity to continue being part of their lives year after year”.

The mayor presented the honoree with a bouquet of flowers and a ceramic plaque by the artist Toniet with a representation of the parade of floats of the Primer Diumenge de Maig. Mrs. Hartmann was accompanied by her children.
