A significant challenge faced by athletes is finding a training companion. However, N’joy claims to solve this problem. Unlike dating apps such as Tinder or Bumble, N’joy is a free app launched in Spain in February. It aims to connect users with someone who shares their favorite sport, providing companionship during workouts.

Teresa Fuster, originally from Mallorca but currently living in Madrid, put her idea into practice after spending a year in the United States. While working out at a gym in California, she discovered an app that allowed her to connect with like-minded individuals who shared her passion for crossfit. Inspired by her positive experience, the 24-year-old entrepreneur believed that such a project could be successful in Spain as well. Thus, she decided to create N’joy, an app that enables athletes to connect and make plans with fellow sports enthusiasts from their country.

During the registration process on N’joy, users are asked to indicate their interest in ‘sports in and out of bed,’ ‘just a workout partner,’ or ‘just training.’ This app is not meant to mess around, as one of its slogans suggests. It also offers filters by sport, enabling users to match with like-minded individuals who share their athletic interests. “Whether it’s paddle tennis, athletics, cycling, or hitting the gym, N’joy has something for everyone”, explains Fuster. Additionally, the app suggests other leisure activities such as cooking, music, or crafts, which users can enjoy together.

During the registration process on N’joy, users are asked to indicate their interest in ‘sports in and out of bed,’ ‘just a workout partner,’ or ‘just training.’ This app is not meant for casual flings, as one of its slogans suggests.

Plans on N’joy are categorized by levels and can be either public or private. This feature allows users to chat privately or invite others from the community to join them. With over 1,000 users already registered, the app is available on both Google Play for Android users and App Store for iPhone users. All that’s left is to find a match and start a conversation. Who knows, you might just meet your better half in sneakers.
