The Balearic Conselleria de Servicios Sociales has opened an investigation and temporarily suspended employment and support for three unvaccinated social workers against the covid of residences of elderly people in Ibiza who have failed to comply with the order to submit three negative tests each week.
According to Radio Ibiza, more than fifty staff from the Govern’s houses, out of a total of 324, had not been vaccinated against covid, accounting for 16% of the total. Since last August, workers in households who do not want to get vaccinated have been required to submit three negative diagnostic tests per week, a requirement that was recently approved in the case of health personnel.
