The Rúa de Santa Eulària already has a date: the 13th of February, Shrove Tuesday. From today until the 9th of February, the registration period is open to participate in one of the four categories that have been created this year: school groups, adult groups, individual groups and children’s groups. The parade will begin at 5 p.m. on Carrer Sant Jaume.
Individuals or groups interested in participating have a deadline to to register at the offices of Culture in Sant Jaume streetnumber 72, until 3 p.m. on Friday, February 9 (the 12th is a holiday in the municipality to celebrate the Day of Santa Eulària). “The goal is that this year’s edition will approach or exceed last year’s figures, when there were about 1,100 participants in about twenty groups,” detailed from the City Council.
The route is the one established for years, with the point of grouping of all the participants in the parking of the Palacio de Congresos at 4 p.m. in order to certify that all requirements are met and establish the order of departure. From there, and from 17 hours, will start the parade to head towards the street César Puget Riquer (beginning of the road to es Canar) and, for a short stretch of the street José Guasch Vich, link with the street Sant Jaume, which will run until you reach s’Alamera and Plaza of Spain, where the parade will end.
This year the march will have four categories and five special prizes that, in total, will distribute almost 8,000 euros in prizes. The awards and their rewards are:
School Comparsas:

Adult Comparsas (more than 5 participants):

Individual or children’s group (up to 5 components with a majority of members under 15 years old):

Special prizes (the winning of one prize does not preclude the winning of others by the same participant):
