Here are the best plans for the weekend on Ibiza and Formentera

Pride Ibiza 2022 concludes this weekend with LGTBIQ+ Pride Parade

After more than a week of activities and shows, Ibiza Pride 2022 concludes this weekend with its main event, the Pride March, held on Saturday in the port of Vila. But before that there are other events, such as the Drag Funk Gala, the first drag gala to be held on Eivissa, this Thursday in Can Ventosa, or the big party scheduled for Friday in the calle de la Virgin and calle Alfonso XII.

Another interesting event this weekend is the VIII Mostra de cine Africà de Sant Josep, related to the African Film Festival of Tarifa, which brings films, feature films and documentaries over the weekend at the cultural center Can Jeroni de Sant Josep.

Of the activities organized on Formentera for World Refugee Day the play ‘El rey del Gurugú’ stands out this weekend, by the company La Nave Va, which was presented on Thursday at the municipal cinema of Sant Francesc.

The Archaeological Museum hosts the second day of its ‘Tríada Mediterrània: Pa, oli i vi a l’Eivissa antiga’ (Mediterranean Triad, bread, oil and wine on ancient Ibiza), which this Friday will be dedicated to bread, with a lecture by expert Iban Yarza, as well as stalls and tasting of products from the island.

The activities for International Yoga Day also begin in different municipalities of the island this weekend, with open yoga classes and other events.

And a nice way to close the weekend may be the concert that the Orquestra Simfònica Ciutat d’Eivissa offers on Sunday afternoon by the sea in the auditorium des Caló de s’Oli and with works by Mozart and Beethoven.
