The Hippy Market Punta Arabí, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, started yesterday a season in which the first hippy market of the island wants to vindicate its position in Ibiza focused on all audiences. The inauguration was attended by Carmen Ferrer mayoress of Santa Eulària, and Miguel Tur, Councillor for Finance and Economic Promotion of the City Council, to support the market in such a remarkable season.

“We are very happy and proud to start the tourist season with the Punta Arabí hippy market, to support a market that for us is emblematic as the origin of the hippy markets of the island, and that comes with great enthusiasm and renewed illusions,” said Carmen Ferrer.

This year, the Hippy Market Punta Arabí is included in The Reference, a concept that expands its range of action, adding more musical programming, wellness activities. It also adds the opening on Fridays from April to October to the classic date of Wednesdaysthe promoters said in a note yesterday, “pursuing the repositioning of the Hippy Market, and the Hippy philosophy of the island”.
