Housing prices in Ibiza have doubled in the last decade

All the municipalities of the island, except Vila, exceed 100% increase in the price per square metre compared to 2014 | Sant Joan is the most expensive municipality, with 7,112 euros per square metre, and Sant Antoni is the one where prices have risen the most

The price of housing in Ibiza has doubled in the last ten years, with sustained growth in all municipalities except for Vila, where prices have still risen by 88%.

The highest increase in the price of housing was in Sant Antoni, which has become 167% more expensive in a decade. Luxury real estate drives prices up and distorts the market, with the most expensive areas being Marina and Dalt Vila.

The pandemic crisis caused a slight setback in 2020 and 2021, but prices have now reached historical maximums in most municipalities. In contrast, on the island of Mallorca, prices in some municipalities have not yet recovered from the bursting of the real estate bubble during the 2009 crisis.
