The Govern has authorised the payment of 334 million in company aid, 63.7 million in Ibiza

The Government emphasizes that 855 million will be paid by the end of September

The Govern yesterday authorized the payment of 334 million in aid to more than 4,721 companies of less than ten workers or that are newly created, and next Tuesday will do the same with the aid for those who have requested less than 500,000 euros and before the end of the month will pay the amounts claimed by large business groups.

Of the total amount, 63.7 million will be distributed among the 656 companies with less than ten workers in Ibiza and another 7.3 million euros will be distributed in Formentera. In Mallorca, 237 million will be distributed among the 3,383 companies that meet these requirements, and in Menorca, 25.3 million will be distributed among 501 businesses.

The representatives of the employers’ associations could not hide their delight at the economic injection that will mean the distribution of the 855 million euros this month which was granted by the central government to companies in the Balearic Islands that have been hardest hit by the pandemic.

The President of the Executive, Francina Armengol, thanked these employers and trade unions for their support in designing the distribution of these funds, and highlighted the fact that the islands will be the first autonomous region to complete this distribution of aid, and that not a single euro will have to be returned to Madrid, unlike what is happening in other parts of Spain.
