Traumatology patients have the longest wait for an appointment with a specialist or an operation at Can Misses Hospital. This is shown by the transparency webpage of Ib-Salut, which has the data updated to the end of November. In both cases, and despite the fact that this service concentrates a good part of the referrals to private healthcare, the average hospital waiting time exceeds the maximum period established by the Conselleria: 60 days for a first consultation and 180 days for surgery. Thus, Traumatology patients wait an average of 106 days for a consultation and 197.6 days for surgery.

Moreover, this service has the most patients exceeding these maximum times: 50.5% of those on the surgical waiting list and 67.46% of those on the consultation waiting list. Both data have deteriorated in the last year, since in November 2021 the percentage of those who exceeded the maximum waiting times were 60% and 46.85%. In terms of delays, consultation delays have increased by 18 days (in November of last year it was 88.8 days) while users now wait nine days less to go to the hospital operating room, as last year there were more than 200 waiting days.

The second Can Misses Hospital service (of those with updated data, because there are fifteen departments for which current information does not appear) with the highest delay for an appointment with a specialist is Gynecology and Obstetrics, with 81 days on average, a figure that has increased considerably since November 2021, when it was barely one month. It is also the department with the second highest percentage of users who wait more than two months for a consultation with almost half (49.6%).

In the case of operations, the patients who spend the second longest time waiting to enter the hospital operating room are those of Otolaryngology: an average of 157.7 days. This figure is considerably lower than that recorded for this service in November of last year, when the average delay was 200 days. Other services whose patients wait more than four months on average for surgery are Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (142 days, 20 days less than a year ago), Ophthalmology (137.8 days, 26 days more) and General and Digestive Surgery, where the average delay is 125 days (seventy days less than in November last year). On the other hand, the service whose patients spend the least time waiting for an operation is Dermatology, with a delay of just one month (34 days). Pediatric Surgery is, on the other hand, the surgical service with the fewest patients exceeding 180 days of maximum delay, 9.1%.
