The hippie and handicraft flea markets are one of the attractions of Ibiza and one of the essential tourist sites when visiting the island. Each municipality has several hippie markets, some of them with almost fifty years of history, where you can find handicrafts, costume jewelry, art, clothing, etc and also enjoy good atmosphere, with food and music.
Although some of the flea markets remain open all year round, others only open their doors with the beginning of summer and the tourist season.
Markets in Santa Eulร ria
Las Dalias Hippie Market
The flea market of Las Dalias is one of the best known of the island. Created in 1985has been growing in number of stalls to more than 200 at present, according to its website. The complex, located in the municipality of Santa Eulร ria, just before reaching the small town of Sant Carles, also hosts other events such as Las Dalias Cafรฉ, Las Dalias Club or concerts. In the case of the flea market, it takes place every Saturday and Sunday of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For the easter vacationsthe flea market has announced that it will be open on all public holidays, i.e. from Thursday, April 6 to Sunday, April 9, with the same opening hours.
True Hippie Market es Canar
The True Hippie Market is the largest and oldest on the island. It was founded in 1973 and is located in the village of Es Canar, one of the most touristic areas of Ibiza. The market brings together a total of 500 artisans among its narrow streets full of jewelry, costume jewelry, handmade clothing and stalls with various items.
In addition, there are also art exhibitions and other activities, such as getting a massage.
The True Hippie Market has two different schedules, one in summer and one in winter, as detailed on the official website. The winter schedule includes the months of april, May and October. Throughout these months, the flea market takes place on Wednesdays from April to October 10 a.m. to 6 p.m .
As for summer time, it includes the months of june, July, August and Septemberand is also held on Wednesdays of each week, extending by one hour. Therefore, the schedule during these summer months is as follows 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
S’Alamera Market
From the City Council of Santa Eulร ria have reported that the craft stalls that are usually put on the promenade of s’Alamera will also be open at Easter. The days that you can enjoy this market are from Monday to Saturday, although on Wednesdays there are usually not many stalls because the same artisans usually go to the True Hippy Market of es Canar, report from the Consistory. Santa Gertrudis and Cala Llonga Markets
Both markets open only in summer during the months of greatest tourist activity, that is, in June or July, according to information from the City Council of Santa Eulร ria.

Sant Jordi flea market
The San Jordi flea market, created in 1995 is organized in the racecourse of the village of Sant Jordi, which is located about 3 kilometers from the city of Ibiza at the exit of the village towards the airport. In this flea market second hand and second hand articles are sold such as clothes, books, old magazines, records, furniture…
It is held every Saturday throughout the year from around 8 am to 3 pm. It has free parking and a dj who plays music throughout the morning.

Craft market of Sant Rafel
In the market of Sant Rafel, located in the village of Sant Rafel, about 9 kilometers from Sant Antoni, you can enjoy a craft show with all kinds of products. The market has about 20 craft stalls among which you can find handicrafts, ceramics and agricultural products.
It is usually held every year between every Thursday between the months of June and September. The market is open from 7.30 p.m. onwards.

Port Market
The Ibiza Marina flea market, located in the Plazas de Antoni Riquer and Sa Tertulia, in the port of Vila, was inaugurated in the year 1974.
