The drunk driver who ran over a 16-year-old boy in ses Païsses, in Sant Antoni, has recorded a blood alcohol level constituting a crime against road safety, explained the Guardia Civil, which is why the man has been investigated.

The perpetrator is a 39-year-old man of Spanish nationality. The accident took place on Saturday at the Can Guillemó crosswalk, which crosses the Sant Antoni highway.

An ambulance from the 061 and the Guardia Civil went to the scene of the accident, reported the Policlínica Nuestra Señora del Rosario, where the victim was transferred. There he was admitted at 10pm with a cranioencephalic trauma and right clavicle fracture, under the care of the Traumatology Unit.
