Calvin Harris plans to celebrate his wedding on Ibiza

The couple formed by the DJ Calvin Harris and presenter Vick Hope want a discreet celebration only for their closest friends and family.

DJ Calvin Harris plans to marry his fiancée, British TV and radio presenter Vick Hope, on Ibiza, reports The Sun. After numerous back-and-forth love affairs, the island-based DJ proposed to his girlfriend under a tree at Terra Masia, the finca he bought on Ibiza this year. The presenter said yes immediately, according to The Sun, “she is madly in love with Calvin Harris and couldn’t be happier”, adds this media.

The couple met seven months ago, according to close friends and the Daily Mail, and made their first public appearance last May at the Chelsea Flower Show, a gardening festival held in the London city.

Calvin Harris and Vick Hope want an intimate wedding

The millionaire DJ proposed to her with an engagement ring valued at 1.2 million euros, according to The Sun. Although the ring is impressive, the couple do not seem to want an expensive or flashy wedding, but want a discreet and intimate celebration with only their core group of friends and family, according to those close to them.

Vick Hope is telling people that they are getting married on Ibiza, according to the newspaper, as it is a special place for both of them where they want to spend their lives together. The bride’s mother is helping them plan the wedding.

Everything has happened very quickly and both are very happy, say publications that have picked up the couple’s decision.

The record producer ended his relationship with model Aarika Wolf after the distance made the courtship incompatible, as Harris spent a lot of time on Ibiza after buying the house in the countryside.

Calvin Harris acquired Terra Masia in early 2022. The estate is a 56-hectare organic farm located in the municipality of Santa Eulària and produces “vegetables, eggs, wine and farm-to-table meals,” as well as hosting “special events such as weddings,” as reported after the purchase by British newspaper The Sun.
