Last Tuesday, the Provincial Court will try V. S., a Serbian citizen arrested on 3 July in Ibiza with more than 15 kilos of cocaine, as well as other substances. The accused, who has been in prison since then, was caught by National Police officers with a blue suitcase in which he was carrying around ten kilos of cocaine and more than a thousand euros. The day after the arrest, the Juzgado de Instrucción number 4 of Ibiza authorised the entry and search of his home, where another five kilos of cocaine were seized, as well as other substances such as MDMA and ketamine.
A crime for which the penalty foreseen is, as detailed in the written statement of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ibiza, “six years and one day in prisonspecial disqualification for the right to passive suffrage during the time of the sentence, as well as a fine of one million euros”. However, the prosecutor proposes that once the man has the third degree or has served three years and six months of the imposed sentence he should be expelled from Spain “with a prohibition to return for a period of ten years”.
In the suitcase
In the blue suitcase that the accused was carrying at the time of the arrest, the agents found ten packages wrapped in dark-colored plastic on which the word BOSS could be read, printed. The intention of the arrested person was to destine all the cocaine “for sale to third parties”, states the indictment, which details the contents of these ten packages of cocaine, along with which were also found 1,090 euros “from previous sales”.

- 1 package of cocaine: 983.45 grams, 33.78% purity.
- 1 package of cocaine: 861.59 grams, 32.88% purity.
All these substances would have reached on the illicit market a value of 374,462.75 euros, the document indicates.
During the search at his home
The indictment also specifies everything that was found in the search of the detainee’s home, one day later:

- 1 flat pack of compact cocaine wrapped in paper: 347.63 grams, 80.35% purity.
- 1 paper-wrapped flat packet of compact cocaine: 347.09 grams, 78.29% purity.
- 1 paper-wrapped flat packet of compact cocaine: 346.23 grams, 78.42% purity.
- 1 plastic bag containing ketamine: 500 grams, 86.31% purity.
- 1 plastic bag with ketamine: 500.21 grams, 88.17% purity.
- 1 plastic bag with ketamine: 469.04 grams, 88.68% purity.
- 1 plastic bag with ketamine: 499.95 grams, 89.92% purity.
- 1 plastic bag with ketamine: 399.43 grams, 90.99% purity.
- 1 plastic bag with ketamine: 99.93 grams, 89.84% purity.

- 1 bag with 13 sachets containing ketamine and MDMA: 8.49 grams, 27.94% ketamine, 17.45% MDMA.
- 1 bag with ketamine and MDMA: 27.62 grams, 26.06% ketamine, 16.5% MDMA.
- 1 bag with a piece of MDMA: 28.31 grams, 76.72% purity.
- 1 plastic bag containing 8 plastic wraps with MDMA: 79.47 grams, 53.1% purity.
- 1 plastic bag containing 13 eppendorfs with MDMA: 8.86 grams, 54.41% purity.
- 1 bag containing 12 eppendorfs with cocaine: 8.25 grams, 76.5% purity.
- 1 bag containing ketamine: 4.18 grams, 89.28% purity.
- 1 bag containing cocaine: 49.03 grams, 78.54% purity.
- 1 bag containing MDMA: 23.31 grams, 37.91% purity.
All these substances that the accused “was going to sell to third parties” would have reached a market value of more than 400,000 euros (a total of 405,093.28 euros), according to the document. In addition, in the home there were 31,795 euros “from previous sales”. Thus, the value of all the drugs seized from the detainee, those in the suitcase and those found in his home, is close to 800,000 euros (779,556.09)
