Actor Dean Cain, who played the classic superhero Superman in the famous 1990s TV series ‘Lois & Clark’, has today published a video on Twitter in which he supports the candidacy of the current mayor of Santa Eulària and Popular Party candidate for re-election to the Town Hall, Carmen Ferrer.
The American, who was married to Ibizan model Samantha Torres, with whom he had a son, has been living in Santa Eulària for two decades, as he tells in his video.
“I live here because it’s beautiful. It’s very well kept, so full of light, life, family and happiness. And the people are incredible”, continues the actor before considering that “most” of the positive aspects of the municipality are “thanks to the great mayoress, Carmen Ferrer”.
Cain goes on in the video to support the candidacy of Ferrer, whom he refers to by her first name, in this Sunday’s elections.
“If you are going to vote this May 28 please vote for Carmen so that Santa Eulària continues to lead Ibiza in quality. Vote for four more years of guarantees. Vote for Carmen Ferrer of the Popular Party,” he concludes before returning to show her “all his support”.
For her part, the mayor has shared the video of the actor, to whom she expresses her gratitude: “It means a lot,” she assures on Twitter. “With you, Santa Eulària wins,” she writes next to several icons symbolizing strength.
