Two Britons arrested for selling drugs ‘door to door’ in a hotel in Sant Antoni

They were caught by the establishment's security team. They were carrying more than 200 ecstasy pills and an undetermined amount of cocaine.

Two British youths aged 23 and 26 have been arrested by Guardia Civil officers for an alleged crime against public health in Sant Antoni. The curious thing about this case, one more of the hundreds of this type that occur on the island in summer, is how the alleged drug traffickers operated.

As Diario de Ibiza has been able to learn, the two alleged drug dealers had their area of operation in a local hotel. But they did not wait for customers at the door or in the pool area. They were more direct; they went door to door, room to room to offer their merchandise.

The problem is that they were caught by hotel security personnelwho detected what activity they were engaged in and decided to alert the Guardia Civil. Apparently, the agents arrested the two accused, who must now be brought to court, last Sunday night in the same establishment. They were seized at the time more than 200 ecstasy pills and a quantity, which has not transpired but was not too large, of cocaine.

It has not transpired whether the detainees visited the hotel on a recurring basis or even stayed there.
