Ibiza airport is the worst rated by Spaniards according to a survey conducted by the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU).
In a statement, from the entity have explained that after the pandemic not all the airports have recovered the quality of the service according to a survey carried out by the experience of 19,746 passengers from 11 countries at 68 airports.
Specifically, users have penalized the transportation difficulties to the airport, in addition to the wait to pick up bags which takes about 19 minutes from the time the passenger arrives at the baggage claim conveyor belt until he/she can finally pick up the luggage.
Among other data, respondents have stated that Cairo is the one that has recorded the worst ratings by having the longest queues for passport control and the terminals with the worst offer in stores and catering.
Others airfields with low ratings of passengers who used them are Lisbon-Portela, with average waits of 29 minutes to collect baggage, and Hamburg, with long queues at access controls.
The ranking of the top five airports according to users is topped by Dubai, followed by Zurich, Munich, Helsinki and Doha.
Good ratings
The rest of the Spanish airports also obtain good ratings in general, especially the one at Santander. After him, those of Alicante, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria y Barcelona-El Pratalthough users have criticized the waiting time for the security check, as well as the waiting time for baggage with an average of 26 minutes.
The airport of Madridis slightly less well rated than Barcelona, although it is easier to reach from the capital.
Other aspects that could be improved at most of the national airports are the difficulties in finding recharging points for electronic devices, as well as the availability and operation of the wi-fi network.
