The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) will activate the yellow alert tomorrow in Ibiza and Formentera for temperatures that could reach up to 37 degrees.
The weather forecasts for the next few days are for extreme temperatures above normal with the arrival of a heat wave that will sweep across Spain and will reach its peak next Tuesday, as reported by the weather agency. Thus, tomorrow the alert will be activated in a total of thirteen autonomous communities.
Thus, tomorrow the thermometer is expected to reach the 37 degreesthe yellow alert is activated in the Pitiusas and the orange alert in the island of Mallorca. The minimum temperatureson the other hand, will reach up to 30 degrees.
According to the Aemet, throughout these days, in the Balearic Islands the atmosphere will be loaded, in addition, of a mass of suspended dust from Africa.
The agency recommends to take measures to protect oneself from the extreme temperatures that can be reached these days in the islands.
