Two cars, a silver Opel Corsa and a bluish-grey Volkswagen Passat, collided head-on this morning on the Can Guash road in the municipality of Santa Eulària. The accident took place at around 8:51 a.m., according to information from the Ibiza fire station, which received a call about an accident between two cars with a person trapped in the vehicle.
A fireman and four firefighters in a fire engine, as well as the Guardia Civil and operators of Grúas Ibiza, who have removed the vehicles.
When firefighters have arrived at the scene of the accident, the driver trapped in the car had already been extracted.
Firefighters have disconnected the batteries of the two cars involved in the accident as a safety measure and have terminated their service.
